lets swop bedrooms

we moved into a two bedroomed cottage last september me d husband and four kids plus dog. we were living with the daughter who also only had two bedrooms and me and the husband had to sleep on a airbed. have you ever suffered from sea sickness whilst sleeping, its great fun for the first two mins but after a few weeks i was so sick of that air bed. everytime the husband moved i was thrown up on the crest of a wave and back down with a thump depending on how long we had been laying on the bed and how much air had escaped.
I dont know if many of you have tried finding rented property in the northumberland area but its like trying to find rocking horse poo. we at last found our cottage and decided to get out of the daughters hair and leave the air bed behind (just in case anyone else wants to sail i meen sleep there) we thought that since we have our name down on every housing association list and the council that surely some day we would get a bigger house.
So the house consists of a nice sized lounge with beams painted black and large open fireplace. a kitchen the same size as my friends pantry and her pantrys a lot better fitted. A downstairs bedroom with a conservatory attached. we did try to use it as a dining room at first but i could not face taking friends through my bedroom,to have lunch, to the smell of my husbands sweaty feet.so the first move round was moving the boys downstairs into our bedroom and putting the dining table in the lounge and trying to make the conservatory into a third bedroom. the conservatory idea was such a bad idea, it was the start of winter the two youngest were out in the wilds (conservatory) they were waking up four or five times a night and then our friendly naighbour said, that roof in your conservatory blows of every winter. second move all the boys back in one bedroom . until this weekend when we decided that enough is enough and decided to put a false roof on the ceiling in the conservatory and move the oldest two out there. what a bloody nightmare (worse than sleeping on the airbed), we emptied the contents of the bedroom into the lounge, at least 20 toyboxs and 15 bags of rubbish that you can find in kids bedrooms. plus 10 loads of washing. The boys were supposed to be helping me and the husband to sort the toys and cloths out, what a dissaster, we ended up doing most of it alone as the faster we cleared a area the faster the youngest filled it with one or two hundred of his cars . we eventually got finished at lunch time today. The boys wanted to go down to the beach and fly a kite that the youngest had bought for his birthday. It was sunny but we still all ended up with frostbite. There was kids on the beach in bamburgh in shorts and tee shirts an it was bloody freezing, they must have been holidaymakers..
